Utzon suspension - Literally catches the eye - The designer Jørn Utzon was fascinated by his father's designs as a naval engineer, who designed many ships.
About a decade before he designed his masterpiece, the Sydney Opera House, he put some of this childlike fascination into this lamp, which shows the interweaving of sharp lines and the round shapes of the ships - Edited for the collection AndTradition.
The light it diffuses takes on a slight amber tone under the effect of refraction, thus illuminating its environment with a particular brilliance.
The choice of two finishes, white or chrome, is an allusion to northern light and the glittering waves.
It is powered directly by 230 V. It does not have a transformer and does not require any special equipment.
It belongs to the class 2 lighting - Protection class IP 20.
