Created by the designer Jaime Hayon in 2015, thepaper shade Formakami plunges us into the middle of Asia. With its very light and soft appearance, this luminaire will bring calm and serenity in your room.
Made of rice paper, this suspension disrupts the conventions by restoring the taste of the day to a very traditional design.
Many centuries ago, lanterns were very popular in Asia and existed in many models and colours.
"Lamps play such an important role in people's lives. In some cultures, they move away from darkness and bring hope. I tried to keep this emotional aspect of the light, in a lamp that also seems light. By leaving the bottom of the lamp open, the idea is to bring even more illumination to people all over the world, "says designer Jaime Hayon.
This series of suspensions is available in 3 different models, all in ivory white.
